Ken Domela was born and raised in Alaska, began studying Martial Arts in 1972 and was awarded the rank of 6th Degree
Black Belt in 2007. He is also a high ranking instructor of Tactical Krav Maga, an Israeli Combat System. After,
"Wandering Aimlessly about the Planet", as a sailboat captain, he settled in New Zealand to teach Martial Arts and
study Ortho-Bionomy and ConTact C.A.R.E where
he began his practice and is now a Certified Advanced Practitioner and Instructor. He recently moved back to Homer,
Alaska, and runs Shuhari Studio, teaches Martial Arts including T'ai Chi Ch'uan
and Kempo/Karate at Homer Karate School and University of Alaska, Homer, and also works with Dr. Erika Arndt at Inner Nature
Chiropractic, as well as doing his thing at Windhorse Ranch in his spare time!
